Title: Got a problem with your wife?
Post by: ironbite on June 21, 2013, 05:48:12 pm
Don't talk it out.  Spank her ass into submisssion. (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/06/21/christian-domestic-discipline-spanking-jesus-marriage_n_3479646.html?ncid=edlinkusaolp00000003)

When a follower of the Christian Domestic Discipline movement decides what to hit his God-fearing wife with, research is important. A hairbrush, for example, is "excellent for achieving the desired sting" but can break easily. Alternatively, a ping pong paddle is quiet and sturdy but may not sting as much as is required to get the message across.

These bits of information are among the tips and tricks detailed in the Beginning Domestic Discipline's "Beginner's Packet," a 54-page document that lays out the basic principles and practices of CDD.

The packet's writers describe the movement as follows:
Domestic discipline is the practice between two consenting life partners in which the head of the household (HoH) takes he necessary measures to achieve a healthy relationship dynamic; the necessary measure to create a healthy home environmental and the necessary measures to protect all members of the family from dangerous or detrimental outcomes by punishing the contributing, and thus unwanted, behaviors for the greater good of the family.

Yeah seems what's good for your kids is also good for your wife.  I can see Christians who want to explore a bit of BDSM getting into this but you know it'll just be abusers screaming the babbel lets them hit their wives.

Ironbite-after all if your wife can't sit down, she can still stand and make you dinner.

My brain automatically changed the "discipline" in "Christian Domestic Discipline" to "abuse."  I feel that's much more fitting.

Hey guess what happens if a husband is wrong.  If you guessed NOTHING!  you win the no prize!

Ironbite-yeah this is just an excuse to knock your wife around when she mouths off to you.

I remember hearing about these groups a few years ago,  in fact, I think it was on the old forums.

Didn't know that Christians liked to get freaky and now I have a horrible image of FLDS members doing it with cheesy porno music playing in the background.

I agree with Ironbite...I can't help thinking this is a bunch of BDSM enthusiasts and abusers (no, the two are neither synonymous nor mutually exclusive) who try to find religious justifications for their kinks and abuse.

On the difference between secular BDSM and "Christian BDSM"...  (http://fstdt.com/QuoteComment.aspx?QID=84036)

Quote from: Sir Gardener
They are different since there is a specific spiritual component to their relationship. The Master and submissive/slave worship, pray and grow together as Christians. The Master is head of the wife. She submits to Him. Christ is the head of the church. Master and submissive are both in submission to Christ. A Christian submissive’s first responsibility is to God and His commandments. Unlike her secular sister, a Christian submissive should not participate in something against God’s teaching, even if ordered by her Dominant/Master.

I think, judging from things I've read (I'm a man with an internet connection and a lot of free time don't judge me!!) that an aweful lot of Christian Domestic Discipline couples are the same as regular domestic discipline couples.  IE both parties are mutually consenting spanking fetishists for whom "real" discipline is part of the fetish.  The only difference is the Chrisitan ones hide behind the pretense of so-called tradiotnal christian values to pretend that it's not just a BDSM lifestyle because kinky sex and kinky lifestyle choices are EVILLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!

Of course I don't doubt there are still some where the man is basically just trying to justfiy his abusive behaviour.

How do you make sure they stay still for that?

There are a number of ways, though my favourite is simply to take them by surprise. They're just walking down the street, minding their own business when suddenly, WHACK! Penis to the face.

You are either really tall, have a thing for midgets or have a NBA worth vertical leap.

not all 3 as if you had the other 2 you would swing over the midget's head.

Nah, just kick 'em into the air first. There's nothing quite so spectacular as a mid-air dick slap across the face.

Now, you guys are getting weird....

The thing that burns me about this Domestic Discipline thingy is that it's one-sided & sexist. If the man screws up, does the woman get to spank him? No sirree!

This isn't about "discipline"! If it was, husband & wife would spank each other equally. This about controlling women, nothing more.

It's also insulting, the Lady of the House is simply relegated to "ersatz child". I hate these guys. Wives are partners, adults, not children! These goons think wives are no better or higher than the kids & family pet! Insulting!

That said, I don't mind if it's fully consensual on both sides & both spouses are fully into it. It's just the lop-sided, patriarchal, fundiness & telling others they must do it that irks me.

Hm...I prefer strapping a small amount of chocolate to my dick.  As we all know, women have an uncontrollable urge to consume any chocolate placed in front of them.  Get 'em to lean in close, then bam!  Dick (and chocolate) across the face.

"Christian Domestic Discipline"

Is that what they're calling domestic violence these days?

Or all three.

Are you sure you don't want to go with the "it's big enough to reach face level" explanation?

Oh yeah, I almost forgot to mention that one as well. Thanks for the reminder, good sir.
