Take just all the grown guys, especially Taliban types (but spare the few nice ones), corral them in a fended in big plot of land, then zoarch them with those BLU-82 things.
Then start over with the good men, women, girls, boys & very moderate/liberal Islamic scholars/clerics (if they wish to remain Muslim). Provide plenty of relief, education, kindness, diplomacy, fix up the infrastructure, etc. (lest they hate us more for the mass-murder of most of the male population).
Of course, this is all a goofy, hypothetical fantasy on our part. I'd doubt vaporizing the populace would be such a fab idea.
