why dont you study us history. i hope you get this case to the supreme court so you can see the portrait of moses thats on the wall behind the speaker of the house right before you get sent home a loser

I find it ironic that he's saying Jessica needs to study history, when he himself knows nothing about history, science, grammar, politics, religion, or the courts.

That's not ironic, that's just projection.

He's trying to be a lawyer? Really? Most non-Americans probably understand the Establishment Clause better than he does.
It’s been my impression that most non-Americans probably understand the Establishment Clause better than most Americans. But then, maybe I’m just too close to the stupidity. :(

I think you're right, unfortunately.  Heck, I think it's safe to say that most non-Americans know the Establishment Clause better than most conservatives who have run for office here (the USA) in the last dozen years or so. :(

I think it is those very politicians that have contributed the most to keeping those same misunderstandings about the Establishment Clause alive and well in the general populace.

The messed up part is that most of the students probably didn't give much of a rat's ass about the banner to begin with -- they're merely getting sucked into mob mentality, bullying this girl because it's what the crowd is doing and makes them feel superior.

Here is a transcript of an exchange she had on Facebook. It's long, but the idiocy of those she's debating is really quite amusing.

The ignorance of these people is astounding.

I say, without reservation, qualification, or doubt, that this man is the single biggest asshole I've ever known.

Wish I could say the same. Tragically, I've come across a few people who were/are worse than him.

Also, sorry to hear about your demotion in rank, no-longer-Admiral Lithp.

How much trouble would I get into with Facebook if I sent message to these people pointing out the lack of Christian thought they put int heir messages?

I doubt you'd get in any trouble, provided that you're not abusive, threatening or engaging in ongoing harassment.

They posted Jessica Ahlquist's home address online.

They posted her personal, private home address online.

Someone should put the bullies' addresses online, and see how they like being exposed and vulnerable.

Preferably on /b/.

Isn't it Illiegal to post private info without that person's consent?

Also this does not make your side look better Religious freaks. I wonder if there is a God and he's going..."This guy is not talking for me. He has no idea what's he's talking about. Just a loony fan. Nothing more."

I think sinfest got it right...

Awww isn't that special.  They're willing to lose out on business rather then violate their own morals.  That's cute.

Ironbite-stupid...but cute.
