I'd be more sympathetic if people here didn't act like they knew what they were saying when they were saying something very much wrong.

Aww, what a happy poodle! :D
I know they're seen as frou-frou dogs, but poodles really are quite mad.  Then again, they're french hunting dogs, so what do you expect :P

I love Eisenhower. For that very reason. He may not have been perfect but he knew what he was talkin' about.

Actually, I kinda think this belongs in Worst, simply because it's using "They're like those big burly men forced to walk girly dogs" as an implied insult :-/

As someone who thinks men shouldn't care about whether they walk manly, big, small, or girly dogs, it feels a bit... oh, what's the term... homophobic?

I thought it was that Mitt is nothing more than a well-trained dog answering to the GOP.

Of course, further back, there were liberals in the Republican party and conservatives in the Democrat, I believe. I'm rather confused with the switch. Correct me if I'm wrong though.

Too much contrast between burly biker and frou-frou dog  for it to be just that. Bikers are supposed to have rotweilers or dobermans, right? Tough dog for tough guy.

I think that would have worked better if he'd made it a less specific dog.

Content!  I'm not sure if this belongs here, or in the Bad Cartoons thread, but it makes me giggle like a lunatic:

Between the ridiculously tiny hat, and the cowboy turkey, I find it hilarious.

Chad: I kinda want context on that, that's pretty awesome.
There is light and darkness in the world, to be sure.  However, there's no harm to be had in walking in the shade or shadows.

I don't know any more than you do.  From the image itself, I image Sen. Shortey was once attacked by a turkey, so he wants open-carry in his home state so he can defend himself from those pesky wildfowl.
The tiny hat probably means he's a bit of an city cowboy, I guess.

Personally, I'm of two minds on the issue of open carry, but this may help give some background on the subject.

Of course, as far as I'm concerned, if you're worried about wild turkeys then concealed carry is fine.

Which is probably how the GOP sees itself with Romney.
