There was, until recently, a prayer banner at a high school in Rhode Island. An atheist teenager asked that the banner be taken down, and a federal court there agreed. Now, of course, she's been getting a lot of flack over it from Christians because of it.

You know how the fundies often say they're being persecuted? Well, it just goes to show that if you want to see what they're up to, simply look at what they're accusing the other side of.

Let me make this clear: I have nothing against religious people. Only fuckwits who use their religion as an excuse to abuse others. The fact that these fundies are doing it tells me they need to have a log extraction.

Every time something like this happens--EVERY TIME--the vast majority of people are saying "the atheist is stupid to complain about something so trivial" with one side of their mouth & saying "and they should be killed for doing something so horrible" with the other.
