To summarize: Yutyrannus, a 9-meter, 1.5 ton tyrannosaur, was just named on the basis of three partial skeletons from Early Cretaceous China. A primitive tyrannosaur that still had longer arms with three fingers, the animal is known to have had downy feathers based on impressions around the bones.

The down was nature's way of saying he wanted to be petted.  Too bad humans couldn't help because of the bad timing.
