So yeah.  I wanted to make another thread today.  This one will discuss the glorious return of The Animaniacs on The Hub.  Goddamn, Hub.  Well played.  You're frakkin' awesome.

Wasn't this the series that included Pinky and the Brain? Because if so, then fuck yeah.

Yep.  In fact, Pinkie Pinky and the Brain was on as part of The Animaniacs.  Animaniacs is not show much a show as it is suite of shows. :P

Edit:  Does my misspelling tell you anything about the way my brain's working right now?

In my opinion Pinky and the Brain was the greatest thing that came from that series. I never particularly cared for the rest of sub-series, they were pretty mediocre in my opinion.
No matter what happens, no matter what my last words may end up being, I want everyone to claim that they were:

I remember they had a special on either Christmas Eve or Christmas where they showed a marathon of the Christmas episodes and Wacko's Wish.  A few days or weeks later, the show was added to the regular lineup.

It was such a good show, and I'm glad it is back on the air.

I loved it when I was a kid!  I think I actually like it more now that I'm an adult, oddly enough.

Yeah, that was part of the plan to reintroduce the show to a new generation. :D

This... is incredible news. The Hub picking up more oldies and goodies. Consider myself a subscriber to the network (if I can find it).

(I would also piss myself happy if Freakazoid got picked up, but that seems unlikely...)

Loved Pinky and the Brain! I agree with askold that the other characters were rubbish.

Had one of the best theme tunes ever as well.

That's cool and all that you don't like them, but I think calling them "rubbish" is a bit much. ::)

How can you hate the characters that brought us a song that lets you accurately name all 50 states? Or the "Finger Prince" joke?
Still can't think of a signature a year later.
