Funny thing about Leave it to Beaver:

It was a work of fiction!

Repeat: Leave it to Beaver was fictional!

Leave it to Beaver was fictional!

Leave it to Beaver was fictional!

Leave it to Beaver was fictional!

Leave it to Beaver was fictional!

Leave it to Beaver was fictional!

Leave it to Beaver was fictional!

Leave it to Beaver was fictional!

(And yes, I'm aware that you all know this)

If you look at it logically, cannibalism has great potential to simultaneously solve our overpopulation and food shortage problems.

Probably people who want to go back to the "Good old days" except that their version of how things were in "Good old days" never really existed in the real world, only in fiction and propaganda.
No matter what happens, no matter what my last words may end up being, I want everyone to claim that they were:
"If you strike me down, I shall become more powerful than you could possibly imagine."
Aww, you guys rock. :)  I feel the love... and the pitchforks and torches.  Tingly!

Heck, half the time, the "good old days" they describe are much darker than the happy go lucky world of LITB.

If we ever did go back to the fifties, the fundies would flip out when they saw the tax rates.

I remember Bill O'Reily complaining about how the Obama administration destroyed the Leave it to Beaver style of the "good ol' days." I wonder how he would feel about all of the minority members of the Republican party being kicked out and denied civil rights.

Probably wouldn't mind too much! Following that statement, Bill also complained about the collapse of the ethnic establishment and advent of minorities overwhelming the white power base.

Jon Stewart, in the linked video, points out the irony of men named O'Reily and Goldberg complaining about the fall of the current ethnic establishment.
Still can't think of a signature a year later.
