Street-legal flying car cleared for takeoff

I think somebody posted about this thing last year in the old forums, but it has now passed the tests and it sounds like they expect to have it on the market within a year.

Consider the intelligence of most people driving on the ground.  Now put them into the air as well.  Terrifying!

It said you need both a drivers and pilots license, so stupid people won't be flying. For now anyway, I'm sure it will change soon :(.

I kind of like the idea of sending a car out by itself to run errands for me, both for the laziness enabling and the looks on people's faces with it pulls into a drive thru without a driver and demands food.

I prefer better driving conditions for motorcycles than more cars.

Personally I feel using motorcycle for local commutes (that doesn't require lugging large amount of supplies) instead of cars would clear up congestion and would be friendlier to the environment. Better driving conditions for motorcyclist would help that.
