It's such a tired old cliché. Every time someone posts something critical of Christianity, some
"True Believer" has to pipe up claiming that those other churches are false and that they somehow possess the one true faith. Oh but they're not religious, they have a personal relationship with god.
Dude, if you think you have a personal relationship with God, then you're not just religious, you're nuts. It's one thing to believe in God, but it's another to claim to know God personally and to speak on his behalf.
And don't act like you're different from all the other churches. Everyone all claims to have the
"Truth", but in the end, it's the same message, you're a worthless sinner saved by grace. Speaking of which, that's an insulting message. God loved us so much that he had Jesus killed so he wouldn't have to kill us. Such a touching story, expect it's not. Because according to fundie theology, most of humanity is already going to hell anyway. Why did god even half to kill someone anyway? Us mere mortals can come up with better concepts of "justice" than that so surely an all powerful God can too.
As I should have said in a disclaimer, this isn’t directed at all Christians. I know personally that not all Christians act like that. But when people share such nutty, barbaric believes an act like there’s nothing wrong with them, I get very frustrated.
