Do you all remember when I made this thread about a month ago on April fools when Toonami made a surprise return for one night?

I am mostly pleased with the lineup. Bleach is shit, and always has been. But it's popular shit, and they need the money. The rest of the lineup is mostly old, classic stand-bys that they already had the rights to, with two new shows. I'm really exited that they got Casshern Sins.

I'm glad they're using TOM 3.0, instead of that awful Thomas the Tank Engine look-alike that was TOM 4.0. I wonder if they'll explain that away in one of the bumpers.

Hey, Bleach is entertaining for me. :D Which pretty much overrides its quality or lack thereof.

(And it's still better than 95% of American cartoons, so I'll take what I can get)

And yeah, I'm glad CN is smart enough to realize that Tom 4 was NOT well-liked.

I know some friends who are going to be very VERY happy about this.

It's not my thing (I have this thing against cowboys because my dad watched so many damn spaghetti westerns, and they are ruined forever for me, so the cowboy themes of the show are ruined forever for me) but I agree that it's an excellent anime.

However, I'm looking forward to Deadman Wonderland, surprisingly.

Having seen episode 2 already, all I'll say is, it's not disappointing.  Not in the least.

However, Shiro's song was better in Japanese, and I say this as someone who actually really likes Deadman Wonderland's dub so far.

I have to say, I'm pretty disappointed. The lineup is "4 shows CN was already airing too often, and 2 shows I lost interest in halfway through the subs".

After all the exciting shows I hadn't seen in a long time during the April Fool's thing, this was just depressing. And if it's the best they can do (while suggesting that over-played crap like Naruto and DBZ would make it better) then I don't foresee the new Toonami lasting very long.

Well think on how Toonami first started.  The parallels are astounding.
