The ultimate contest of flamboyance and bloc voting politics has returned! Who will win? Who will have the most outrageous costume, sending the Pope into hysterics at the very sight of bare skin? And will SBS ever get funny presenters?

Don't compare Verka to Lady Gaga.  Just don't.

I mean, I like some of Lady Gaga's music, but that's just insulting to Verka Serduchka.

"Verka Serduchka" is the female persona of a comedian.

Kinda like Stephen Colbert, actually.  Except with more music.

My brother now swears the Russians are trying to kill him, because he had just been drinking when they came onscreen. Spittake ensued.

My personal favourite was Spain, though Sweden won not undeserved. They highlight of the whole show though was Mr. Lordi presenting the Finnish vote. Please, please, do it again next year.

Well, that's because Lady Gaga is only Verka Serduchka's child. Clearly she is inferior because she hasn't grown into the sheer force of talent that Verka has.
