Actually they were available in ME1 and 2. Liara and Kelly Chambers can both be romanced (respectively) tho Chambers doesn't count for paramour. So, you are not exactly correct.

Personally I always wanted to bump cunts with Ashley but I'm in the minority.

Liara is somewhat of a cop-out, and calling Kelly a "romance" is being overly generous at best.

Well Liara's species is weird monogendered thing so If asari don't count we have to disregard the two asari that can be romanced in ME2  but why doesn't Kelly count? None of the romances have more than some chatting between the player and NPC plus one "love-scene." (How much is shown varies and not all even imply that there was any sex.)

EDIT: I messed up the quote tags while editing.
Ummm... what asari can you romance in ME 2? I know you can "score" with someone other than Liara, but the Justicar is off limits. For lots of reasons.

You can romance Morinth, although like all women she will lie to get you into bed, then kill and devour your corpse afterward.

Hey guys, sorry to drag something from page 1 back into the front, but:

Enili, pal?  This is a site based around fundies saying stupid shit.  This is pretty much exactly why we're all here.  We care because it's funny.

Sorry, I wanted to answer this, because it's entirely my fault. I wrote that post in one way, but it was very easily interpreted as another and I can see how that happened. No, I'm not trying to bash you guys for making fun of a fundie. Trust me, if I can consider youtube comments on the main page a valid thing to mock, then anyone's fair game.

No, I wanted to make that post in more of a "I'm sorry, who the hell does this person think he is?" kind of way, as if the name "Tony Perkins" is somehow relevant to the world at large... it's really not. I'm bashing him by saying he's a nobody, not you guys for making fun of him anyway.

Anyway, sorry about the confusion. Carry on! :D

Kelly counts to me. But as I said, you don't get the paramour achievement so people don't count it.

Here are the same-sex options in the first two:
Liara for female/female
Morinth, female/female but as mentioned you die
Samara for female/female
Kelly for female/female

But I suppose female/female are more palatable for fundies than male/male.

I looked as hard as I could and couldn't find any that were not fan-scripted.

It is, indeed.  Never had the "pleasure" of playing it, though.

Never played Custer's Revenge. Did have the displeasure of playing ET on the Atari as a kid. It sucked as much as everyone else says it did.

I checked the Mass effect wiki and ME3 is going to have same-sex romance options for both genders.

I also played it and thought it was fun. Years later, when I heard about burying copies of the game in the desert, I thought it was a joke. "After all," I thought, "the game wasn't THAT bad. There were worse."
