Also can't believe "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic" hasn't been mentioned yet.  :P

I agree, and I was a fan of G1 as a wee little girl.

Two of Richard Adams' books have been adapted to film.

I personally find both film adaptations to be better than the original books (Watership Down and The Plague Dogs, ESPECIALLY the latter).

The Plague Dogs book tended to get bogged down with some bizarre, sarcastic, stream-of-consciousness quasi-poetry in the middle of the narrative, which the movie obviously left out. And the movie left the ending ambiguous... which I find to be a better one than the book...
