Funny how the articles are so quiet about the French person who was a) the first to act b) disabled the AK c) was injured in the process. Everyone is talking about the US soldiers and even the Brit who came in late and didn't do anything is getting a medal.

Yeah, I noticed that too. I had to dig around to get more info on him. Embarrassing, frankly.

Is it the news editors who suck ass so hard, or do minion reporters just follow a strict formula to slant reports like that? I swear my country has gotten so strange over the course of my life, I barely recognize it any more. Stupidity is scary when it's deliberate.
