There is already a petition against the comics, but the really fun part is that even when they are claiming that these stamps shouldn't be allowed because Tom wasn't culturally significant they are admitting his significance and status as an artist:

I hope you guys are happy now.

The online services for our postal office are down because everyone wanted to pre-order Tom of Finland stamps.

And I do mean EVERYONE. The post office is getting phonecalls and emails from all over the world. Mostly from USA but the people of Britain and India are also showing interest in stamps with bare asses.

They are thinking of printing a second edition even before the first one is on sale because if the pre-orders keep coming like this there won't be any stamps left to be taken to store...
