I predict Obama will win, and Romney finally reveals that he is a lizard from the planet kolob, then he flies away with his lizard second-in-command Tom Cruise.

Tom Cruise is a $cientologist, not a Mormon.
Her3tik, you have groupies.

Ummm, the Democrats have control of the senate, not the republicans.

The Republicans will have more than the 41 seat requirement, surely.

The party's name is the Democratic Party. It has been since 1830. Please spell correctly.

"The party must go wholly one way or wholly the other. It cannot face in both directions at the same time."

Which if the Dems grew some balls could change the first day of the new Senate.  Of course it would not matter much because the GOP will still have control of the House.

Overall I just want it over already.  I early voted in Florida, my part is done.

I don't think I'll even watch anything to do with the elections on the 6th, I'm utterly burnt out by it all.

Filibusters are fucking cheap ass cop-outs and should be outlawed under penalty of strangulation by the reanimated corpse of Thomas Jefferson.

That said, of course Obama will win.  The incumbent almost always wins, one of the first laws of politics.

Tom Hanks is a Mormon.  But sadly, not a lizard.

Politics is exhausting, that's why I have Minecraft.  Villagers getting uppity?  Drown the ungrateful savages in a sea of lava, problem solved.

Of course, what happens after the election is a big concern, given whatever threats can happen like rioting and such.

Filibusters have their place, as they allow the minority some (in theory) small level of control. If they worked the way many people think they worked*, they would be great. Sadly, that kind of filibuster went out long ago and will never come back because it takes too much effort

*By that I mean forcing someone to stand there and continue to speak until they either relinquish the floor or a vote is taken to end debate.
