The World According To Dick Cheney

I wasn't exactly sure which section to put this in. This will probably get political but I myself at least was more interested in the philosophical questions that arose. And I suppose some will find this entertaining.

Please note his reaction to the question about his main fault...

He does not think about himsef, he does not ponder if his justifications for his actions were correct. He believes in his cause 100% but he never questions the cause. This is a very dangerous type of mind.

His later comment about duty vs honour was also interesting. "Are you going to trade the lives of a number of people because you want to preserve your... your honour?"

The other clips show how he keeps making these strawmen, "If we hadn't done X then the terrorists would have killed us all" etc.
I repeat: He believes in his cause 100%, he truly believes that everything he did was justifiable. But he never considers if he could have reached the same results with other means. He does not even stop to think if the suspects might have given the intel without torture.

This is a very fascinating man.
No matter what happens, no matter what my last words may end up being, I want everyone to claim that they were:
"If you strike me down, I shall become more powerful than you could possibly imagine."
Aww, you guys rock. :)  I feel the love... and the pitchforks and torches.  Tingly!
