I'm all for unions but this is just...

Editted for: wow I read that wrong.

http://www.dispatch.com/content/stories/local/2013/06/06/SB5-voter-fraud-conviction.html

A few years back union busters tried to gut the rights of anyone working for the public good. Ohioans turned in petitions by the droves to get an initiative on the ballet that would block the anti-union move. Over 900,000 legitamit signatures were collected. So why this idiot thought turning in a petition with nothing but fake signatures was a good idea is beyond me.

I'm all for workers' rights, but stupid is stupid.

I think you got it backwards dude.  He was pro-union.

And he'll be punished, probably go to jail. There are bad apples in every pile, what matters is

1) How the institution is run
2) How the law is applied.

The party's name is the Democratic Party. It has been since 1830. Please spell correctly.

"The party must go wholly one way or wholly the other. It cannot face in both directions at the same time."

Was he a paid signature gatherer? I so, that's probably why. I used to live in a state that allowed them, and they're a pain. They get paid a buck or two for every signature, so there's massive incentive for fraud. There were some cases for initiatives in general elections where people would copy names and addresses straight out of the white pages, in order.

Plus any organization with enough money can hire a ton of them, so just before the cutoff date to turn in signatures you could hardly walk down the streets downtown without being hounded for your signature.
