I always wanted the watch from Bernard's Watch, which was a kids tv show about a boy who had a watch that could stop time.

I hated the main character though, because he had the power to stop time, but only used it for completely mundane things like having a nap at school between classes.

I REMEMBER THAT SHOW!! And I wish i had that watch.

I'd want one if only so I wouldn't have to worry about getting my work done on time.

I suspect a lot of people would use it for rapey things though.

Hmm. I just used to daydream about robbing banks with it.

Anyone remember the old Robotech series? I always wanted a Cyclone. Sure, a VF-1 Valkyrie or Mosnster would be nice, but I could actually use a Cyclone without killing myself and it would make a great little commuter vehicle.

Timestop is a genre of porn. (At least I've seen some written erotica about it.)

But that's enough about me ruining your childhood dreams. Iron man suit would be awesome. I wouldn't even use it for evil, just playing with it or doing good would be fun enough.

But what if Bill Gates would use it for evil? He might make it the copyright enforcer for Microsoft products. Or anti-criticism detection and corrections assistant.

The Infinity Gauntlet. No question.

All I need. All I've ever wanted for as long as I remember. "With godhood, nearly all things become possible."

Though I might settle for the Cosmic Cube.

After all, why think small? Get something that would enable you to do anything you want, knowing anything, reshape reality to anything you desire.

I don't know.. I'd want something powerful enough that it would allow me to easily carry out lot's of evil Machiavellian plans, but not so powerful that I don't need to spend a bit of time thinking up said plans whilst pushing tiny models of boats and planes around a map of the world with one of those pointy stick things.

So being able to just magic up anything you want up kind of crosses that line for me.

Could I get all the powers of the Darkness without having the malevolent entity living inside me, waiting to kill and devour every human I come across?  (Powers ARE objects!  ...If you're a programmer, lol.  ...IT WAS FUNNY TO ME!)

Outside that, I'll take a cubic centimeter of programmable nanites.  Have a convenient controller that'd double as a smartphone (or perhaps have the controls as a smartphone application), and I'd be able to do damn near anything.  Including using the nanites to make more nanites.  Oh, or, instead of a controller thingy/program, why not wire the controller so I can control them with a thought?

No rule says you can't still do those things. Even Doctor Doom when he had the Beyonder's power still used calipers and maps when plotting to invade Mephisto's realm. You could limit yourself to one infinity gem at a time if you still wanted the challenge.

I sympathize completely. However, to use against us. Let me ask you a troll. On the one who pulled it. But here's the question: where do I think it might as well have stepped out of all people would cling to a layman.

Perhaps have a filter in the controller's software that prevents operation when it detects that you're asleep or otherwise unconscious?  Outside, of course, protecting your body, like if you were knocked unconscious in a car crash and broke bones, the software would tell 'em to patch you up.

So, yeah. For me, I'll take:

That's all that leaps to mind at the moment. There will probably be more.
