I found this to be pretty cool. I think it's sad how so many people think animals are dumb simply because we can't communicate with them directly.

Animals are a lot smarter than many people think. I remember reading an article about dogs in Moscow had figured out that if they get cute or mangled dogs to go up to people, they are more likely to get food and that the dogs had memorised the subway lines. Also, even Darwin wrote about monkeys and apes using tool, so it is something we have known for a while.
