If you look at it logically, cannibalism has great potential to simultaneously solve our overpopulation and food shortage problems.

Uh, that "No kids til you've got a BA" idea? No.

Just, no.

For one thing, that would mean I couldn't have kids.

They probably mean "old enough to be able to GET a BA"

... I'd hope.
That's exactly what I meant. Perform this procedure at 13, it wears off at 23. More than enough time to graduate high school and get a 4yr degree before adding another parasite to this planet.
Ok, I see now. That makes a lot more sense.

What are MRAs?

Men's Rights Activists.
Keep in mind that there's nothing wrong with men's rights, and that society does have some issues with sexism against men and all, but MRA's generally don't focus on those issues. A lot of them blame feminists for EVERYTHING bad and think that men have the right to oppress women, such as defending martial rape and domestic abuse.

A doctor applies some local anesthetic, makes a small pinhole in the base of the scrotum, reaches in with a pair of very thin forceps, and pulls out the small white vas deferens tube.

Made it this far.

DO NOT WANT

Though that does not sound pleasing, I would be willing to be uncomfortable for a little while if it meant I could not have to worry about accidentally getting someone pregnant for a whole DECADE.

Hate to be all gossipy, but I'm wondering what MRA's think of this.

Not this particular procedure, but there have some videos on a different type of pill, or contraception in general.

I'd be more sympathetic if people here didn't act like they knew what they were saying when they were saying something very much wrong.

I would be against making it mandatory for anyone over 13, if you're being serious.

Not because I'm against birth control. I'm against forced sterilization of people, regardless of age, even if it is temporary.

Don't think of it as sterilization, think of it as a public health vaccination program against STDs.  ;D

But it doesn't actually prevent STDs.  You still need condoms for that.

Maybe Sexually Transmitted Parasites (STPs) would've been a better way to put it.
