I don't understand other men half the time.

Like... why be proud of being strong and stupid?  Why be proud of being able to benchpress 50 pounds if you can't even divide 50 by 10?
Okay, now I don't understand you. Why does inability to to basic arithmetic invalidate the achievement of being able to benchpress 22.6 kilograms?

Because there's very few careers out there that require JUST brawn.  Even construction requires knowledge of math ;D
Mockery of ideas you don't comprehend or understand is the surest mark of unintelligence.

If you can't divide something by ten it means you can't move a decimal point one to the left. Which is pretty fucking sad.

Because they're actually bench pressing five pounds but don't know it.

I didn't ask whether that would make you a particularly skillful worker. Not looking at the whole picture here. I asked why lack of ability in one area invalidates ability in a completely unrelated area.
That said, I've stopped trying to anticipate what people around here want a while ago, I've found it makes things smoother.

I get sick of the "women are so mysterious" stereotype. There isn't one gender that's noticeably more confusing. People vary so much that what's true for one is going to be the exact opposite for another. You learn and deal with it as best you can.

Well that's...technically correct I suppose. The best kind of correct!

Well, you got the answer, didn't you?

Skill doesn't mean much if you can't apply it.

You can certainly apply brute strength to some things. But over the long run, without academic abilities, it won't be able to sustain you.

Thus, if you had to pick one, you should go with math. It gives you drastically more options.

Some of our posters dont know about lab bunnys. The women of science tend to be rather more "ahem" adventurous than average.
