I'm of two minds about this.  On one hand, I'd like to think this will work.  The deal itself seems sound, and Iran has a lot of incentive to keep their promise.  Moreover, considering they're part of the coalition against ISIL, building bridges is sound strategy.  And Rouhani seems trustworthy, considering his previous actions and political positions.  Then again, just about anybody would look good next to Mr. Dinner Jacket.   ;D

On the other hand, I still have reservations.  How much power does Rouhani really have?  And what would Iran do with the newly liberated money?

I don't know I think the Ayatollah has all of the power in Iran, and the prime minister is just a talking head for him.

The president, you mean.  Iran hasn't had a prime minister since 1989.

Obviously, the world can't just bankrupt Iran because they don't like the look of them.

The really valuable part of this deal is the confirmation of the total moral bankruptcy of Israel's current government, and the Republican Party.

The party's name is the Democratic Party. It has been since 1830. Please spell correctly.

"The party must go wholly one way or wholly the other. It cannot face in both directions at the same time."

I'm all for the deal. I love how it makes the warmongers squirm!
