I can't even decide what I hate most about this one.

I await the fanfic in which the Doctor brings the Framers a half century into the future and across the pond to warn them of the nefarious Socialist menace.

Why do these people treat hard labor as the end-all, be-all, ultimate goal of life?

Work is merely a means to an end, not the end in itself. If it's possible to decrease the workload without affecting production output, why is that a bad thing? Instead, they seem completely opposed to the idea of reducing the workload on the average citizen because somehow, working your fucking ass off every moment of your life is considered "noble".

Art 1. Sec 8. Of US Constitution
Quote

The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence and general Welfare of the United States; but all Duties, Imposts and Excises shall be uniform throughout the United States;

Oops.
I'd be more sympathetic if people here didn't act like they knew what they were saying when they were saying something very much wrong.

I've noticed that.  Amongst a lot of people around here, it's almost like a badge of honor the more hours you have to work.  "Oh yeah, well *I* worked 80 hours this week.  Take that, pussy, with your 40 hours... pfft."

LOL at the use of the big bad scary word "SOCIALISM".

I know I'm probably a minority in America... particularly in predominantly Conservative areas, but I'd rather work to live; not live to work.

It looks as if they don't understand the concept of welfare as a social safety net to be there in case you fall on your ass, after all falling down is a part of life. Fine, assholes like that don't deserve to have anything, I really wish we can just ship those fuckwits to some remote island or something.

Also as to the healthcare one, I don't think it's a right per say, but it is a fucking necessity nowadays, and I'm in support of a system like what they have in Germany.

Why ship them when they're perfectly willing to go on their own?

I can't even decide what I hate most about this one.

Am I the only one who hates it when people use the phrase "I'm depressed" when they're just upset?
