When I have kids, if they are left handed, any teacher that tries to force them to write with their right hand is going to find themselves without ANY hands.

This conversation reminds me of that episode of American Dad where kid Francine was hit with a fish for being a lefty.

Did you get that off of the older forums? I could swear it was posted there too.

It was on my Facebook feed. They put some older stuff on that I recognize.
That may be the single gayest thing I have ever read on this board. Or the old one. ;)

was told that she is allowed to run her class as she sees fit.

What.

Okay, what if the story had been, "Little Jimmy is color blind, he can't tell the difference between red & green"? Does he just have to figure it out, because teachers can run a class any way they see fit, without worrying about such things as the students' physical capabilities?

Because if I was a teacher in the '80's (which I couldn't be because they never happened), I'd have told people to write with their mouthes, or dicks, or something. I am not constrained by this logic & practicality bullshit!

A Major in my Arabic class actually got in trouble when he was a kid for being color blind.  He was doing an assignment, and the teacher honestly thought he was just being obstinate.  Of course, he didn't know he was color blind at the time either, and after a trip to the school counselor, she gave him an apology.

I'd be more sympathetic if people here didn't act like they knew what they were saying when they were saying something very much wrong.

I would rate this as one of the worst, since this is actually a picture of the UK riots.

It would be so awesome if OWS had a MLK, Jr. Golem on their side.
