The X industry

Abortion industry.

We know that is pretty a boogeyman term.

Yet it makes me wonder what are the set of requirements for something to be an industry?

Widespread, for profit used of a product or service that produces tangible results? That's always how I've basically defined an industry.

You and me both. I was also pretty sure it was going to be a troll. I'm all disappointed now; I was so excited that this was going to be my first troll post on the forum...

There are a number of ways, though my favourite is simply to take them by surprise. They're just walking down the street, minding their own business when suddenly, WHACK! Penis to the face.

I tried, but this is the best I can find.

*sigh* Well in accordance with rule #35 someone is now obligated to make abortion porn.
History is full of maniacs, my friend, men and women of intelect, highly perceptive individuals, who's brilliant minds know neither restraint nor taboo. Such notions are the devils we must slay for the edification of pony-kind. Even if said edification means violating the rules of decency, society, and rightousness itself.

What about soft porn?

I always wondered hwo the triple xxx came from if there never seems to be any x or double xx films.

(Yes I know I could google it but I'm lazy.)

Anyway as to the topic, in politics industry is whatever a politicians need sit be to sound scary and seedy.

They are doing abortions for MONEY! ( though I am left to wonder since when did cons have a problem with people paying for health care)

Otherwise I will go with the others before me...

an organized effort by different people to the same end.  Typically but limited too a financial pay off.

My dictionary even sorta agrees with me.

I always wondered hwo the triple xxx came from if there never seems to be any x or double xx films.

The movie rating we now know as NC-17 was originally X; since movies were rated X most often for sex, it became associated in people's minds with porn. The porn industry, in turn, started putting out movies that they billed as XX and XXX (I've even seen one ad for an XXXXX-rated one) just to say "Hey, we're even harder than the stuff no theater will pick up!", even though porn generally isn't rated at all. By the time the official rating got changed to NC-17, the XXX rating was so ingrained in the public consciousness that porn studios have just hung onto it ever since.
