I think there needs to be a porn actors guild, if there isn't one yet. It should be up to the actors if they use protection.

Maybe a sex worker's union that would cover prostitutes as well.

I think the problem with STIs isn't really related to sexual orientation. I think educating the porn watchers and producers would be better.
I'd be more sympathetic if people here didn't act like they knew what they were saying when they were saying something very much wrong.

dream-cum-true

I see what you did there.

Hrm...that sounds fairly reasonable.  It'd also help them stay away from abusive directors and studios, helping to ensure that their voices are heard and their rights are considered.

I also think that protections should be added to sex workers, as well as porn actors who choose only to work with other actors who use protection or are certified STD-free. Unfortunately, the lack of sexual protection in porn as a general trend could increase the pressure on these actors to "cave."

I don't think barebacking should be banned, but there should be a wider discussion on the importance of sexual protection in general, which should slowly buck the trend.

This is all well and good for professional porn. I think the problem with porn, at least on the internet, is that so much of it is amateur and there's no way to regulate that kind.

Well, yeah, but that's likely someone in business for themselves or with friends or loved ones.

That argument may have merit if we were talking about ignorant and impressionable children. However, in the case of grown adults, they should bloody well know better.
The same porn is consumed by both groups.
That said, I've stopped trying to anticipate what people around here want a while ago, I've found it makes things smoother.
For I was an hungred, and ye told me to pull myself up by my bootstraps: I was thirsty, and ye demanded payment for the privilege of thine urine: I was a stranger, and ye deported me: naked, and ye arrested me for indecency.
