I'm genuinely curious as to how Republicans would react if he got the nomination. Sanders being a proud socialist at a time when most in the party are not such and are even horrified of the label would mean some very easy congressional elections for the Republicans. I'm just hoping he can give the Democrats a jolt so they'd be a little less milquetoast.

I know he's just a rich white man and the GOP can go hard on a rich white man the thing is...he's not the same type of rich white men they're used to dealing with.  They have a playbook for Hilary because they think she'll get the nom easy.  Sanders getting it throws a huge monkey wrench in their plans.

Sanders begins by saying he'd like the United States to be like Scandinavian countries like Sweden, with free education, health care, etc.  O'Reilly counters, at about the 1:00, saying that isn't feasible since countries like Sweden are smaller and can thus afford the HC and schooling. 

Is this true?  Is the reason free schooling, HC, etc. work in those countries but not the U.S. is because the U.S. is larger?

First of all USA is also much richer than the Nordic countries and if you would stop using so much money on military (and buying more tanks and other military vehicles and armaments than your military needs and forcing them to mothball brand new tanks and weapons because the government refuses to build only as many as they have asked for... This is what happens when company lobbyists decide where the spending should go.) you could probably afford all of that by simply cutting from that.

Considering that USA spends more government money on healthcare than Finland despite not having socialized medicine I think your current system has plenty of waste and could be made smarter.
